Working with me
How projects are priced, how payment works and what you get, so there are no surprises before or after you hire me.
Ways to work together
Fixed-price project
A defined scope: a new website, an app module, an upgrade or an integration.
You get a written scope and a fixed quote after a short call or brief. Payment follows progress you can see: 30% to start, 40% when the work runs on a test link you can try, and 30% at handover. Small jobs under $500 are paid 50% upfront and 50% on delivery.
Hourly
Work that is hard to scope upfront: fixes, investigations, ongoing changes.
We agree a weekly cap on hours so the budget never surprises you. You get a timesheet of what was done, and invoices every two weeks.
Monthly plan
Maintenance, support and ongoing SEO.
A set number of hours each month for updates, fixes, monitoring or SEO work, paid at the start of the month.
Through Fiverr
A first project with a new client, especially overseas.
If you would rather pay through a marketplace, hire me on Fiverr: the platform holds the payment until you approve the delivery. Repeat work can move to direct payment.
How a project runs
Brief
You send a few lines through the form or by email. I reply within an hour during working hours.
Call
A short call to understand the goal, the users and the awkward cases. No charge.
Scope and quote
A written scope with what is in and out, a fixed quote or an hourly estimate, and a timeline.
Build in the open
You follow progress on a test link and give feedback at each milestone.
Handover
Launch, handover notes and access to everything, then 30 days of free bug fixes.
Payments
- Clients outside India
- Wise, PayPal, Bank transfer. Invoiced in US dollars.
- Clients in India
- Bank transfer or UPI. Invoiced in Indian rupees.
- Through a marketplace
- Fiverr (opens in a new tab), where the platform holds payment until you approve the work.
Every payment comes with an invoice. Milestones are listed in the quote, so you know each amount and when it is due before the work starts.
Included in every project
- A written scope and quote before any work starts, so you know exactly what you are paying for
- The number of revision rounds stated in the quote
- 30 days of free bug fixes after launch
- Full ownership of the code once the work is paid for, in your own repository
- An NDA before you share details, if you need one
- Handover notes, so another developer can pick the work up later
Before you hire me
Do you need a deposit before starting?
Yes. Fixed-price projects start with 30% of the quote, or 50% for jobs under $500. Hourly work and monthly plans do not need a deposit beyond the first invoice.
Which payment methods do you accept?
From clients outside India: Wise, PayPal or bank transfer. From clients in India: bank transfer or UPI. You can also hire me on Fiverr if you prefer to pay through a marketplace.
Which currency do you invoice in?
US dollars for clients outside India and Indian rupees for clients in India. If you need another currency, ask when we discuss the quote.
Do you publish prices?
No, because two projects that sound the same can differ several times in effort. After a short call or a written brief you get a fixed quote, or an hourly estimate for work that cannot be scoped upfront.
Who owns the code and the content?
You do, in full, once the work is paid for. The code lives in your repository or hosting account, not mine.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. Send it before sharing the details of your business, and I will sign it before we go further.
How many revisions are included?
The quote states the number of revision rounds. Changes beyond them, or changes to the agreed scope, are estimated separately before I start on them, so nothing appears on an invoice unexpectedly.
What happens if something breaks after launch?
Bugs in my work are fixed free for 30 days after launch. After that, fixes and changes run hourly or on a monthly plan.
Can we start with a small paid task?
Yes. A small, real task from your backlog is a good way to see how I work before committing to a larger project.
How do we communicate, and how quickly do you reply?
By email and video calls, with progress updates on days we agree at the start. I work 9 AM to 9 PM IST and reply within an hour during those hours.
