SEO and content

SEO content writing services from a writer who understands search and code

My SEO content writing services cover blog posts, service pages and technical articles that are planned around a real search query and written for the person typing it. Every piece starts with a brief, ends with on-page checks, and goes live with internal links already in place. Because I am also a developer, I can write about Laravel, PHP, WordPress, APIs and SaaS products with accuracy generalist writers cannot match.

What’s included

  • A content brief for every piece: target query, intent, outline and internal links
  • SEO blog posts and long-form guides
  • Service pages, about pages and other website copy
  • Technical articles and tutorials with tested code examples
  • Titles, meta descriptions and headings written with the copy
  • Internal links to and from your existing pages
  • Updates and rewrites of older posts that have slipped in rankings
  • Publishing in WordPress or your CMS, with images sized and alt text added

SEO content writing services for businesses that sell expertise

Search engines reward pages that answer a query better than the alternatives. My job is to find out what the searcher actually needs, write the clearest answer on the page, and make sure the page is technically ready to rank. That is the whole service: research, writing and optimization in one pair of hands.

It suits service businesses, B2B companies, SaaS startups and agencies that want fewer, better pieces that bring enquiries. It is not for anyone who needs 50 cheap posts a month to fill a calendar. Volume without a plan tends to create pages that compete with each other and never rank.

How SEO writing differs from regular writing

Good SEO writing is good writing that also matches a search. The difference shows in the structure: the main question is answered in the first sentence or two, headings mirror the questions people ask, and each section can stand on its own if Google or an AI assistant quotes only that passage.

SEO copywriting does not mean repeating a keyword. Google has said for years that it rewards helpful, people-first content, and its spam policies now target scaled content made mainly to rank. So I use the target phrase where it reads naturally, cover the related entities and questions a real expert would, and cut anything that exists only to hit a word count.

SEO blog writing services with a brief behind every post

Most blog writing services start with a topic and a word count. I start with the query and what currently ranks for it. The brief records the search intent, what the top pages cover, what they miss, the angle that makes our piece worth reading, and which of your pages it should link to. You approve the brief before I write a word, so there are no surprises in the draft.

The same process covers SEO article writing services for guides, comparisons and how-tos. If you want to see the brief format, my SEO content brief template shows it. If you are wondering how much to publish, I wrote about how many blog posts per month you need for SEO; the honest answer is fewer than most people think, if each one is planned.

Website content writing services: service pages and core copy

Service pages usually matter more than the blog, because they are the pages that turn a search into an enquiry. My website content writing services cover service and product pages, about pages, location pages and FAQs, written to explain what you do, for whom and why someone should choose you, in plain language.

For pages built around a single offer or an ad campaign, I combine the copy with the build through landing page design, so the words, layout and speed are planned together.

Technical content writing by someone who writes the code

Developer audiences spot a non-technical writer within a paragraph. I write PHP and Laravel professionally, so tutorials, comparisons and explainers for developer tools, SaaS products and web agencies come with working code, correct version details and the trade-offs an engineer would mention.

The best writing sample I can offer is public: read the articles on this site's blog, which cover Laravel, WordPress, SEO and hiring decisions. They show the structure, depth and tone you would get for your own site.

Writing samples you can read before you hire

Most writers send a PDF of past work that you cannot check against search results. Mine are live on this site, written by me and planned with the same brief and on-page checks I use for clients. Three that show different kinds of SEO content writing:

  • A technical guide for developers: Laravel SEO covers meta tags in Blade, sitemaps, staging noindex, JSON-LD, redirects and server-side rendering, with code a developer can paste and run.
  • A checklist with sources: the PHP 7.4 to 8 upgrade checklist links each breaking change to the official PHP documentation, so a reader can verify every claim instead of trusting me.
  • A plain-language answer for business owners: why is my WordPress site slow explains causes and fixes without assuming the reader knows what a database query is.

How long content takes to work, and what affects the cost

A new article on an established site may start earning impressions within weeks and settle into its positions over two to four months. On a new domain, expect six to twelve months before a body of content brings steady traffic. Nobody can guarantee rankings for a piece of content, so I track impressions, clicks and enquiries per page in Search Console and GA4 instead.

Cost depends on length, how much research is needed, how technical the subject is, whether I need to interview your team, and how many pieces you want per month. After a short call or a written brief, you get a fixed quote per piece or per monthly batch.

How the work runs

  1. Plan the topics

We agree target queries from existing keyword research, or I build a short list from your Search Console data, sales questions and competitor gaps.

  2. Brief and approval

For each piece I write a brief with intent, outline, sources and internal links. You approve or adjust it before writing starts.

  3. Write and fact-check

I write the draft, check every claim against a primary source and test any code, then edit for clarity and length.

  4. Review and revise

You review the draft in Google Docs and leave comments. I revise until it is accurate and sounds like your business.

  5. Optimize and publish

I add the title, meta description, headings, internal links, images and alt text, publish or hand over, and request indexing.

  6. Track and refresh

I check each piece in Search Console after a few months and suggest updates where it is close to ranking better.

Questions

  • How is SEO writing different from regular writing?

It starts from a real search query and is structured so both readers and search engines can see quickly that it answers that query. It still has to be clear, accurate and worth reading. Writing that only serves the algorithm rarely holds rankings for long.

  • Do I need to provide topics and keywords, or do you handle the research?

I can handle it. If you already have a keyword plan, I work from that; if not, I build a short topic list from your Search Console data and competitor gaps, or as a separate keyword research project for larger sites. Your input on customer questions always helps.

  • How often should we publish?

As often as you can publish well, which for most small businesses is two to four planned pieces a month. Consistency matters more than volume. Updating older posts that are close to page one is often worth more than a new post.

  • How long until content brings traffic?

On an established site, new pieces often gain impressions within weeks and settle over two to four months. On a new site, expect six to twelve months before content brings steady traffic. Competitive topics can take longer.

  • Do you use AI to write?

Not to produce the articles. I may use AI tools for research tasks such as summarizing sources or checking coverage, but every piece is written, edited and fact-checked by me, and code is tested. Unedited AI text tends to be generic, and generic pages rarely rank or convert.

  • Can you write technical content about Laravel, PHP, SaaS or B2B products?

Yes, that is my strongest area. I work with PHP, Laravel, WordPress and APIs every day, so technical content writing comes with correct detail and working examples. I can also interview your engineers and turn their knowledge into articles.

  • Who owns the content, and how many revisions are included?

You own the content in full once it is paid for, and you can publish it under your own name or brand. Each piece includes revisions until it is accurate and on-brief, and the number is stated in the quote.
